EGYPT, Alexandria. Gordian III. AD 238-244. Potin Tetradrachm (25mm, 12.79 g, 12h). Dated RY 7 (AD 243/244). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle facing, wings spread and head right, holding wreath in talons; L Z (date) across lower field. Köln 2671-2; Dattari (Savio) 4811 & 12422; K&G 72.135; Emmett 3402.7. Good VF, dark brown surfaces, edge split. Well centered on a large flan.
